Follow these simple steps to take accurate impressions from the comfort of your home. Your kit ships within 24–48 hours after your virtual exam.

Your impression kit includes putty, catalyst, trays, and a prepaid return envelope. Follow the 8 steps below to capture a perfect impression of your smile.

Tip: Take your time at each step. If your first impression isn't right, we'll send a free remake kit.

Step-by-Step Guide

Taking Your Impressions

Eight simple steps to a perfect impression.

Prepare materials

Lay out your kit on a clean, flat surface.

Wash hands

Wash thoroughly with soap and water.

Mix putty + catalyst

Knead together for 20–30 seconds until uniform in color.

Load tray

Press the mixed putty evenly into the impression tray.

Bite for 3 minutes

Center the tray and bite down gently but firmly.

Remove tray

Carefully lift the tray straight up and out.

Let harden 10 minutes

Set the impression aside to fully cure.

Mail back

Place in the prepaid envelope and drop in any mailbox.
